The heart of Insight Meditation, also known as Vipassana, is the clarity of awakening. We use mindfulness-based meditative approaches to free the mind from suffering. Freedom, through release of attachment, is the essence of this meditation training.
Wisdom, peace and calm awareness pervade the silence of formal meditation and active daily life. We will interweave movement, meditation and Dharma teachings to bring clarity to our complex daily interactions where we may rest in profound happiness, and extract the seeds of suffering.
Raja Yoga, the path of introspection, is a natural complement to mindfulness meditation as we prepare our bodies for the journey within. This workshop is appropriate for both beginners and advanced practitioners.
